Are you tired of being told to do things the same way? Sick of the comfort zone? It is time to push past the world of limitations into the no-limits mindset. Leadership mavens who embrace no-limits live life to the fullest by pushing themselves to be the best they can be.
How does this work? Let us look at the various things you must understand if you are going to have a no-limits leadership mindset!
All those rules in life are meaningless. It is time to look past what you have already established a hundred times over and start thinking about changing the rules instead of walking the line one more time. It is people who refuse to accept the status-quo who genuinely understand what it means to have no limits.
Most of the time the very things limiting us, are our thoughts. We have already decided that we cannot do something, and as a result we can’t. By taking away limitations, we find ourselves in the world of possibilities, instead of impossibilities.
When you feel like you are limited, how many times is it because of something someone else said or did? Maybe you had a parent who told you that you “just were not athletic” and as a result, you were not athletic. This kind of limitation is deceptive because you often do not realize the origin until you start examining the situation. When you establish that it is from someone else and not you, tell that voice to shut up. You are a leader! You do not have time for that nonsense anymore.
Setbacks are normal! It is what you do with them that matters. Learn from other no-limit leaders! Accept the mistake, mourn it, then dissect the heck out of it to see what you can learn! Congratulate yourself for having tried, be thankful for your lesson, and then try again. This time apply the lessons that you have learned. There is no room for quitters in this mindset.
You are never going to get anywhere if you let fear stop you in your tracks. Understanding where your fear comes from, and then doing this work to overcome that fear, is what is going to free you to move forward and accomplish what you set out to do.
Living a no-limits life does not mean that you never feel limited in any way. It means that you know what to do when you feel that push back, when you are moving full steam towards a goal. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish!
