The secret ingredient for achieving my goals is mindfulness. I have a formula for being successful consistently. My job is full of distractions, so I choose a strategy that keeps me focused on my goals and keeps me accountable for myself. I think carefully about each activity that I take on and remind myself that my current task is expected to produce great results.
When planning your next move, you should take a moment to think about the expected value or return. Doing this will allow you to cement your commitment to giving something your all. Seeing the positive result in your mind should spark a flame of achievement within you. Ask yourself which aspect of your life is mindfulness most valuable?
It is easy for most of us to compartmentalize and ask others to wait until we are finished. You are only one human with several demands on you. The prudent approach is to tackle the biggest things with the greatest value first.
Take fitness as an example. Sometimes your fitness plans can get sidetracked when you take your eyes off the result. Maintaining a mental picture, or vision, of where you see yourself is the key approach.
You can make significant progress with your project when you shut out the distractions. When you see something that is likely going to slow down your progress, remind yourself of your mission.
Today, being mindful serves many people well. It is the secret to a fulfilling life, filled with realized goals. Thinking about the repercussions of your actions will encourage you to make wise choices. Be thankful for the ability to be mindful.
